Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is the professional body
representing the chemical sciences in the UK. The senior staff at
MCA Services are Members of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC)

MCA
Services has, for a number of years, worked in conjunction with a local
secondary school with the aim of promoting science in general to school-aged pupils. Swavesey Village College was the first school to be awarded
Specialist Science Status and is renowned for having high standards of
teaching and facilities. Staff from MCA Services regularly participate
in Skills Days, where demonstrations are made which reflect science at
work,
and the Swavesey Science Challenge, an annual event attended by over 20
secondary schools from the East Anglia region. More information on

the majority of analytical services MCA Services use Micromeritics
instrumentation. More information on the instruments can be found at

Services are the TriStar (for BET surface area and determination of pore size distribution), the AutoPore IV (for Mercury Intrusion
Porosimetry) and the Accupyc helium pycnometer (for the
determination of helium density).
